Dr. Himadri Nath Saha has more than twenty years of experience in teaching and academic research. Dr. Saha has received Ph.D. (Engineering) degree from Jadavpur University on the thesis titled “Design and Implementation of Secured Routing Protocols in MANET”. He has completed Bachelor of Engineering from Jadavpur University. After Completing Master of Engineering (M.E.) from Indian Institute of Engineering, Science and Technology (IIEST, Shibpur) Dr. Saha has done Master of Business Administration(MBA). He has received a good number of awards during his career and some of them include “Gold Faculty Award” from Infosys Technology Limited in 2013, “Outstanding Contribution Award” from Infosys Technology Limited in 2011. He has been conferred as “Best Innovative Faculty” from Infosys Technology Limited in 2012 for implementing a unique innovative case study on operating systems. He has been awarded the “Best Faculty” award from Institute of Engineering & Management in 2011. He has also received Best Research Contribution Award from Institute of Engineering & Management in 2016 & 2017. Dr Saha is the "Fellow" of many premiere organizations like The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineers (IETE), India and Institute of Engineers, India( IEI).He has been awarded as IEM Fellow professor in 2019. He is also the senior member of IEEE(USA). He has also written a textbook on “Database Management System” which became popular among students. He has been invited as a visiting professor in the University of Connecticut, USA, Technische Universität Ilmenau, Germany, Duale Hochschule BadenWürttemberg (DHBW), Heidenheim, Germany. He has a lot of research collaborations with many renowned professors across the globe like Dr. Philip G Bradford of University of Connecticut,USA, Dr. Lanier Watkins of Johns Hopkins University, USA, Dr. Babak Esfandiari of Carleton University, Canada, Dr. Detlef Streitferdt of Technische University Ilmenau, Germany, Dr. Mamun Quazi of Charles Sturt University, Australia, Robert P. Schumaker of University of Texas, Tyler,USA, Prof. Dr. Juergen Seitz of Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg(DHBW) Heidenheim, Germany, Dr. Andrew Park of Thompson Rivers University, Kamloops, Canada & many more.I was vising professor in University of Connecticut,USA. He was visiting research scientist in Technische University Ilmenau, Germany. He is currently visiting professor in Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg(DHBW) Heidenheim, Germany he was one of the invited executive committee members of IEEE Kolkata Section. He was the Branch Counselor of IEEE Student Branch & Faculty Head of ACM Student Chapter.He was an editor of Sensor Journal (SCI E, Scopus etc. Impact Factor :3.05).He has edited more than 15 conference proceedings (IEEE Xplore).He has delivered more than 20 talks in five different countries like USA, Canada, Germany etc. He teaches a number of courses for both graduate and post-graduate students. The courses include IoT, ML, Cyber Security ,Cryptography, Data Structure and Algorithms, Formal Language and Automata Theory, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Data Base Management System and Compiler Design. He was a visiting professor in Jadavpur University (IBM) and Globsyn Business School. His research interest includes Robotics, IoT, ML,Cryptography, UAV, Mobile Ad-hoc Networks, Cyber Security, and Algorithms.
