On the one hand, the CCAA established a system to locate participants doing contemporary art not necessarily influenced by state authorities, academies or 'taste'. On the other hand, the list of participants and winners over the years gives record of Chinese contemporary art since the installation of the CCAA.

I think that is a pointed short analysis you state here. After a while though, I guess, the CCAA itself must have started to influence the "taste" of Contemporary Art in China itsself. Would you agree on that or do you think differently?

Thank you for your comment. I think that rather everything which is done in public influences taste. Therefore I guess that the CCAA influences the taste of Contemporary Art in China itsself, also because people in China got more and more open to western culture. At the same time, I understood from the last lecture that official China sees Contemporary art from a different perspective and applies other criterias than western experts which probably influences the taste in China as well.
