Piedade Carvalho

I am currently a Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering at the Polytechnic School of Engineering in Porto, Portugal.

I have a PhD in Technologies and Information Systems from the University of Minho, Portugal.

As a professor, I taught courses such as Algorithms and Data Structure, Programming Paradigms, Databases, Software Engineering, Informatics in Organizations and Technologies and Multimedia Systems for the Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Computer Engineering.

I am an integrated researcher at the Games Interaction Learning Technologies Research Unit, focused on the analysis, design and development of scientific and technical knowledge in the field of Learning and Interactive Technologies.
