Digital transformation - if you look at the term digital, essentially an electronic platform. Transformation is moving from one state of being to another usually in a positive manner.

Therefore combined you could state that Digital transformation is the movement of manual process to on a digital platform.

However it's not as simple as that, you must integrate digital platforms, you must transform a culture to accept the digital platforms.

Digital transformation now becomes a strategic goal, in which we utilize potential digital platforms to enhance and drive, old processes and inefficiencies.
