Monsieur Sridhar Seshadri

Prof. Sridhar Seshadri holds the Alan J. and Joyce D. Baltz Endowed Professorship at the Gies College of Business, UIUC, and serves as Health Innovation Professor at the Carle Illinois College of Medicine. He received his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Madras (1978), PGDM from IIM Ahmedabad (1980), and Ph.D. in Management Science from UC Berkeley (1993). He is a Fellow of the Production and Operations Management Society (POMS, 2018). With over 5,500 citations, 100 papers in peer-reviewed journals and several research monographs, his research spans operations management, stochastic modeling, and healthcare systems. He has held or holds editorial positions in all leading Operations Management journals. He has extensive experience with use of AI and LLM for intervention modeling, experimentation and policy analysis.
