Rafik is an architect and urban planner, he is lecturer in architectural design at the faculty of architecture of the university of Larbi Ben Mhidi of Oum el Bouaghi in Algeria at the moment he is a guest researcher at the center for metropolitan studies at the technical university of berlin, he is conducting a research on the environmental assessment of brownfields redevelopment projects , with a comparative approch between Berlin and Algiers
