Frau Huyen Thuong Thi Phan

My name is Dr. Phan Thi Huyen Thuong, MD, PhD, and I am an obstetrician and fetal medicine specialist based in Hanoi, Vietnam. I currently serve as Deputy Director in charge of the Fetal Intervention Center at Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, one of the leading tertiary referral centers for maternal–fetal care in the country.

I have more than 20 years of clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology, with my current practice focusing on prenatal diagnosis and fetal therapy, particularly fetoscopic interventions for complicated monochorionic twin pregnancies. In parallel with clinical work, I am actively involved in medical education, teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students at several medical universities in Hanoi.

Our center is currently the only institution in Vietnam providing structured training in fetal surgery, and we regularly receive referrals and trainees from across the country. I have presented my work at national and international obstetrics and gynecology conferences and have published research in peer-reviewed journals both nationally and internationally.
