Stonehenge
With the evidence of Blick Mead being used for such a long period, and with the colour transformation of the flint along with the water temperature and evidence for the Stonehenge area nearby being fairly in forested, it is no wonder that the area surrounding Stonehenge was used so much. from the Mesolithic posts, and the possibility of other evidence not discovered yet, to the last stages of use, there would have been continuity even with any change of use as the society developed and population grew.
