Climate change is the variations in temperatures, precipitation and other elements of weather observed globally over a considerable period of time. The main cause of climate change is the unprecedented rise in mean global temperatures, dubbed global warming which is attributed to increased GHG in the atmosphere. The impacts of climate change globally has been mostly experienced in extreme climate events occasioned by increased frequency and severity of droughts and floods.
