Stonehenge

The interesting thing for me about this chapter is how historical enquiry has evolved. I can't help thinking the changes in the way Stonehenge had been investigated over the past thousand years is similar to the way it's use changed over the period of it's building. i.e. The broad purpose may have been the same, but the knowledge and technology available to it's protagonists moved on.
