CCAA | Chinese Contemporary Art Award

With the promotion of Chinese contemporary art to the West Uli Sigg became victim of his own success. Many artists became so expensive that he wouldn't afford collecting them anymore. One example is Zeng Fanzhi who's major work Masks is part of the collection. One Mask painting owned by someone else was auctioned in Hong Kong two years ago for USD 24 Mio. However, Zeng admires Sigg to date as his mentor and created a portrait of him.
