Child migration is a symptom, not a phenomena in itself

"Share your views" is not a very precise instruction. The issue of child migration emphasizes the unintended consequences many policies. Whatever modifications will be made, migrants, human trafficing and migration routes will adapt. Migration flows will continue as long as multinational and US corporations continue to destroy agriculture in Central and South America via trade agreements such as NAFTA. In Mexico, 1.3 million primarily small and subsistence farmers in the rural sector that worked with corn and bean production lost their existence and started to migrate (http://www.iatp.org/files/NAFTA_and_the_FTAA_Impact_on_Mexicos_Agricultu.pdf). As a farmer, you are not likely to want your children to move into farming or criminal activities, thus migration to the US often seems to be the most promising imaginary.
