Stonehenge

Stonehenge needs to put in to context with its surrounding landscape, as well as where the stone originated. It obviously required the work of more than one tribe and done over many years. What ever its purpose, it would have drawn in people from all over the landscape, who would bring their ideas, culture, religion, social groups into one place. in my opinion you need to incorporate the whole landscape to understand this complex site, made by it's as equally complex humans.
