Climate change is regularly associated with the greenhouse effect, causing global warming. However, although the temperature, on average, increases globally, different regions in the world may be facing much warmer or much colder conditions at different times, depending on their specific location. Climate change is also associated with the different and much varying efforts to actually prevent it or try to at least slow down its progress, and their smaller or bigger success.
