SCROLL DOWN FOR INSTRUCTIONS

`Start by reading this article and discuss in your journal how current official definitions of "migrants", "refugees" and "asylum seekers" are challenged by the on-going migration crisis at the South-East borders of Europe.

You can also see Unit 2.1 for more information about irregular migration in Mediterranean region, Unit 2.2 about EU norms on asylum seeking, and Unit 2.3 on the case of Syrian refugees.

Don't forget to have a look to what others have done in their journals!

Migration is human nature!

"People migrate for many different reasons. These reasons can be classified as economic, social, political or environmental: economic migration - moving to find work or follow a particular career path. social migration - moving somewhere for a better quality of life or to be closer to family or friends." This is a widely known or used for migration.

Some people force to migrate by sentence like in Australia. Some people migrate to hide from justice, like from Europe to America, China to south-east Asia. Some people forced to migrate for slavery like African to Europe, North and South America. Some for work like in Germany form Turkey after the WWII. And some happens as Brain-drain -- So called scholarship provoked to migrate.

But what I would like to believe is that we human are designed to migrate genetically by our creator. Have seen many Japanese are staying in the UK USA and other counties and many 1st world people are migrating to third world countries. So the above example and exception for them. Firstly I would like to believe that people migrate as its been designed genetically to migrate for human diversification and cultural intermix and spread of knowledge so that human can live better way and human race can last in the nature.

All we know that Human journey started from Africa some time 200,000 years ago. In Africa we spent majority of our Human time on the Earth. The earliest fossils of recognizably modern Homo sapiens appear in the fossil record at Omo Kibish in Ethiopia

Humans first migrates out of Africa some 60,000 years ago. By mapping the appearance and frequency of genetic markers in modern peoples, scientist create a picture of when and where ancient humans moved around the world. These great migrations eventually led the descendants of a small group of Africans to occupy even the farthest reaches of the Planet Earth.

Some rich countries invites people to migrate in various ways like DV lottery and by skill category.

There are many reason we can find out and classify But basically humans are genetically migration prob. So it will continues years after years centuries after centuries as it had been continuing.....
