`Start by reading this article and discuss in your journal how current official definitions of "migrants", "refugees" and "asylum seekers" are challenged by the on-going migration crisis at the South-East borders of Europe.

After reading the assigned article, I am amazed at how uninformed our politicians and TV journalists are. They seem to use the words, migrants, asylum seeks, refugees, etc interchangeably. Why hasn't someone suggested to these people, who we depend on for information, that they should take this course. These people fleeing really terrible situation in their own countries have enough problems when out of lack of knowledge the general public lump them all together.
