As an Israeli citizen located in a meeting point of three continents - Europe, Africa and Asia, I am determined to be able to read incoming cultures and exited to find out what is being born out of this meeting points. Different cultures from Africa and Asia are always on the move- as they make a visit just through here - but leave an interesting trail. Being an artist my self- As art students we are mainly exposed to western Art, and art history, if not only, although our location invites a totally different discation and overview. Especially under today's political circumstances where most eastern gates are closed - yet eastern winds are entering whether we want it or not- it can not be blocked (and should not be).
I am also an MA student in the department of east Asian studies- (in TLV university) and lived in China during 2007-2008. i would love to focus my research on these matters above.
I have a Blog (in Hebrew) where i write about daily matters that I find, where Chinese culture is being seen around us here in Israel.
