Given the knowledge that is being learned every year in regards the entire region, one simply can not label Stonehenge as 'just the Stones '
The massive undertaking that was involved in the construction of the Stones clearly defines that Stonehenge was the center piece of the region. With new satellite photography unveiling long disintegrated wood pillars, roads and buried stones, its amazing how large the area of Stonehenge actually is.
