Stonehenge

As much as the archaeologist can speculate about the date in which Stonehenge was built and by the whom, the answer is we are never truly going to know. Although the advancements in dating techniques can give a strong date with in a short time. As their advancements in archaeological technique then more evidence is coming to light which answers some of these questions. As to how Stonehenge was built those answers can never be truly answered as there is no evidence to give a definitive answer. Through experimental archaeology it gives archaeologist an indication of how it was done. However, the theory that the beaker people had a lot of influence on the monument is a very strong possibility as the archaeological record shows the beaker people influence all other the UK. The Beaker people bought no technology with them which would have allowed the Stonehenge to build in stone.
