There are many costs associated with migrants and refugees. There are costs for basic needs like food, shelter, healthcare, as well as transport costs, legal and administrative and security costs. Because of the costs, in a tight fiscal climate there is hesitation among many to permit and provide for refugees, as well as for migrants - regular or irregular.
