Global Culture

I live in Switzerland, and my cultural background is swiss. On a daily Basis, I experience culture in a rather passiv way, i.e. trough media and advertisement. The culture I meet thereby seems quite globalized to me. Still I guess the global aspects are filtered and therefore reduced by the producers i.e. of media and advertisement.

Hi Beatrice
yesterday at the meeting with Michael Schindhelm, there was a question about: "so you think global culture will destroy local culture"?
you can listen to his answer also today, this will give you just more ideas to think about this subject.
Don't forget to fine also partners to ask or to comment in this course.
