Climate Change and Health

I think climate change has always been an important part of my life.
Just to put an example as a child I lived in Chile where my family worked a kiwi and cherry tree exploitation. At that time in 1997, "El Niño" phenomenon was already in everyones minds, not also as something predictable but as a constant fear of losing the crops. Even though this phenomenon seemed to be something cyclic, there were hints pointing towards a bigger problem, meaning more events, stronger and closer in time.
Nowadays I feel like I'm living a life that is less dependent on the effects of climate change. But looking around me I can see some signs like: variation on the arrival of seasons, higher temperatures than ever, lack of rain in the appropriate season that will later come as floods. Even though these events take place on a minor scale compared with other places in the world.
I have th firm conviction that all these changes hav some antropogenic origin and tha we must work to prevent it's fatal consecuences while we can.
