SCROLL DOWN FOR INSTRUCTIONS

Read this article and share your views with colleagues. Is the Australian "Pacific solution" against human rights? What do you think of Nauru and the other "prison islands"?

As always, you can share your view by writing in your own journal, but also commenting on what others have written.

I think that the "Pacific Solution" and the indefinite detention go against any international human rights act signed by Australia and that Australia government should be ashamed of its behaviour towards migrants, especially given that Australia people are mainly migrants coming from Europe. Australia has no rights to deport people and should be seriously reproved and fined by UN and the international community for its migration policy.
