I think we should consider Stonehenge as the whole landscape because it is all part of the same story. From the burial sites before the stones were erected to the small communities that lived nearby, they all play a part in the history of Stonehenge. Especially if it was considered a place of healing, Stonehenge was important to those who lived in the area and used the place for any type of activities and since we don't know for sure why it was built we don't know its true purpose. Seeing the whole picture might make things clearer for those who research it.
