We live on a cooling lump of rock circling the nearest star.
Throughout the lifetime of this planet it has experienced many climactic changes none of which, until the latest one, has ever been linked to the activities of its inhabitants.
Yes adding huge amounts of CO2 can trigger change, but this can be through volcanic activity. Should we do all that we can not to add to the problem, yes of course we should. Deforestation, greenhouse gasses, the excessive breeding of cattle, the combustion engine etc etc etc all add to the dangers of increasing the earths temperature and adding pollutants which all add to the increase in il health of the human and other animal population.
