SCROLL DOWN FOR INSTRUCTIONS

Read this article and share your views with colleagues. Is the Australian "Pacific solution" against human rights? What do you think of Nauru and the other "prison islands"?

As always, you can share your view by writing in your own journal, but also commenting on what others have written.

The Pacific solution is a gross violation of international law

0

The Australian "Pacific solution" is clearly against human rights. The Australian government is clearly trying to manipulate internal law into refusing international law protecting the human rights of immigrants and refugees. Its leading position in the area allows it to get nearby island states, such as Nauru and the other "prison islands", as supporting satellites enabling Australia to implement this gross violation of international law.
