Climate Change policy

According to you, which health impact due to climate change should be prioritized on the United Nations agenda?

Health priorities on the United Nations climate change agenda

The UN climate change agenda should focus on the (re-)introduction of climate-dependent diseases in areas previously free of such diseases, as these diseases may then spread rapidly and uncontrollably developing into epidemics. Especially in cases of well-studied diseases, we should try to keep them well-controlled and even eradicate them, rather than allowing them to spread on new territories, and thus risking the emergence of new mutations and variants. One can only imagine the nightmare of a pandemic of a temperature-related disease which was under control in the past, but never eradicated, and which then affected new regions and transformed into an all-powerful mutation which will now develop into a pandemic worse than the Black Death was during the Middle Ages.
