The priority on the UN agenda should be given to a regional - even local - respond to current health impacts. Climate change is happening to the whole planet but its consequences are not the same everywhere. Therefore, an emphasis should be given to the different problems that people are dealing with from region to region.
In that way, the recognition of the health impacts will become easier and the adaptation and mitigation of the measures for the countries are more crucial.
