Climate Change and Health

I consider myself lucky to live where I do in Northern Alberta, Canada. Sea levels, hurricanes, even flooding and tornadoes are not particularly an issue. However, I do recognize the frequency of these in other places. What concerns me most is the pollution of water, soil and air as we continue to depend on fossil fuels and that has consequences for health. Even rising temperatures, which for us are somewhat pleasant especially in the winter months, are become a concern as prolonged heat waves in the summer result in health issues. That is why I enrolled in this course.
