I was born in France and lived in a democratic environment for 25 years. My French education tough me how to have a critical mind, analyze fact and situation and built my own piece of mind. At 25 years old I moved to China. Living in China fore more than 10 years and still being a foreigner, I experience culture on a daily basis as adaptation, flexibility and tolerance.
Global culture is everywhere in China as the country is more than ever opened and turned into a consumerism society. In what they eat, drink, dream about and purchase...there is global culture. And in the art system there is global culture criteria, the artists who want to be part of the global art scene have to go along with.
