Stonehenge - Who, What, Where, When and Why

0

I believe that Stonehenge was a multi- use structure. Obviously a burial center due to the amount of bones excavated, but also a temple as suggested by the previous lessons. I know that nature and the outdoors was paramount to the Druids. Given the openness of Stonehenge and the lack of actual floor or ceiling is an indication that being in touch with the outdoors was important to whomever built the structure. When was it built? As in the adage "Rome wasn't built in a day" I think the construction of Stonehenge was a continuous process that spanned a vast amount of time. I also believe there is still much more to find and when it all has been revealed, we'll have all the answers we seek.
