Stonehenge

To me it is impossible to only consider the stone monument as Stonehenge. The combination of features which have already been discovered and how they are linked shows how long people have come together in this place. With current discoveries it seems likely that with further investigation that there will soon be even more uncovered. Maybe eventually a more complete picture will be shown and our understanding of these sites and their relationship to each other will be more clear. Whether those who used the area in the later developments knew or understood what had been done there previously may not ever be fully appreciated but that the site held a lot of importance is very clear.
