Create a journal entry: Reflect on your learning objectives
In Chapter 1 you outlined your motivation and learning objectives you liked to achieve with this course. Please note in your journal if you reached your learning targets, what you enjoyed about the course and what you missed in the program.

I have just reread my Objectives and my apologies to Mr Sigg as I referred to him as Mr Stigg in that first journal.
I stated I would like to understand the Chinese more through an investigation of Chinese Contemporary Art, this I have definitely done, the course and additional material inspired me to search for the 'back story', and I am now far more aware of the artists lives and theoretical motivation, as well as the governments position.
The way the course has been structured, by an examination of the CCAA, has allowed us to see and interpret for myself the many elements that have both restricted but also allowed art to flourish within the Communist establishment.
I took a more in depth look at several artists and wish this could have been part of the course or perhaps another course to be offered in the future.
