Stonehenge

It would be an accomplishment to understand the meaning of the Stones at Stonehenge. Why were they put there? Clearly it was a great undertaking at the time and to come to some sort of understanding as to the significance of their being put there would be a part of a greater understanding of the historical context and our overall memory. But the Stones are but a part of the greater picture and must surely be an important piece of a puzzle that has occupied our interest for a great while and will continue to do so into the future. Only further knowledge and information of the site and its surroundings will push forward our complete understanding of who and why this site was chosen and what it could mean.
