Refugees welcome

The Article from the economists gives us some figures regarding the cost of hosting refugees from EU. It is clear, that there are some costs related on hosting / integration process etc. However, those costs are only for the short term, and as soon as those people can speak the native Language and have a job, they will be able to pay down those on the long run by the taxation. Additionally, refugees could be the answer to one of EU greatest issues / An agging population.

Unfortunatly, nowadays EU (Mainly Central EU countries) prefers to build walls, trying to keep refugees out of their soil. This is a miserable sign, reminding us some of the darkest pages of Europe's history. An era, where Jewish refugees faced similar walls trying to escape from Nasi's Germany (Evian Conferense 1938).

Refugees welcome : It seems to be the only orthological solution in relation the the rising refugees issue. Some of the reasons can be found bellow >

  • It is our ethical obligation towards those people. They are leaving their homes because of a war and political interrests that has nothing to do with them.
  • Econimical reasons : If the inregration happens normally, they can boost our economies, one of the greatest Interpreneur of our decade, Steve Jobs, was the son of a Syrian who moved to USA. We just need to provide / share with those people ground for creation.
  • Boarders can not stop man will. Building walls is a practice of the past, breaking those and learn to leave together with eachother needs to be the practice of the future,
