Stonehenge

Stonehenge should be viewed within the context of both the whole of the landscape, and the way that landscape has changed over time. It appears to have served different purposes throughout its life, and spans a very long stretch of time. The different features of Salisbury Plain and Stonehenge itself taken together, tell a much more interesting and valuable story than "Some dudes put up a buncha rocks."
