Stonehenge

From all the discoveries that have occurred in the late few decades , I think it is clear that the vehicle landscape is the archaeological treasure. Not only do we have several separate monuments but they are a chronological journey through time , with each monument a reflection of the importance of the area at that time in history. Cumulating in Stonehenge itself, however not ending there are the are Bronze age relics built after Stonehenge.

I think a question going forward is why was this area so important to so many people for so long?
