What is your favorite brand?

WHY is it your favorite brand? What is their WHY? Does your why and theirs match? What are the emotional, functional, social or self-expressive benefits they deliver to you?

And how is it reflected in their marketing mix, their 4P´s?

My favorite brand

One of my favorite brands is Subaru. One of their marketing efforts in the past was "We built our reputation by building a better car". I never really saw the campaign, maybe it is too old, but this is something i head from all the people who own a Subaru. It is impressive the customers satisfaction levels.
Subaru tells me about quality, consistency, performance, but i emotionally i connect with the brand because my life style match with theirs. All their cars are 4x4 (except for one) and they are suitable for outdoors activities. Also, one of their campaigns is related with dogs!

Product: High quality cars, all wheel drive, boxer engine and safe.

Price: They are positioned below premium brands like BMW, or Mercedes Benz, but above other japanese brands.

Promotion: One of the most successful sponsors for the brand was their presence in the WRC. They use also traditional channels as most of other popular brands.

Place: They use car dealers, as most of the other car companies.
