Migration is a real hot topic specially in these days. We are hearing news about people are coming thick and fast in the Europe from all around the world and specially from Syria, Libya, Iraq, Eritrea and other parts of Africa. People are using methods of extraordinary ways like boats across Mediterranean sea. There are also more conventional way like clandestine entry though truck, back of a lorry, car. As more people are smuggles into countries, its a high time for us to re-check done on the definition exist on migrants, refugees, asylum seeker.

A migrant is a person who moves from one place to another in order to find work or better living conditions. Migrants choose to move not because of a direct threat of persecution or death, but to improve their lives by finding education and work, family reunion, or other reasons. Migrants face no such impediment like persecution, threat If they choose to return home. Rather, they will continue to receive the protection of their government.

Refugees are persons fleeing armed conflict or persecution. Refugees are people "owing to a well-founded fear of being persecuted” has fled to another country and is in need of protection (Refugee Convention, 1951). There were 21.3 million of them worldwide at the end of 2015.

Generally speaking, there was a believe that a migrants are people who seeks more legal and measured way to move to countries, in most cases through legal means. Most people also understands that refugees are those who choose more perilous way to move between borders to seek relieve and safety. In the modern way of migration crisis shows a mix of everything and the terminology has come to serious threat. there is a very hard way to differentiate those terms. people who are fleeing from a warzone or conflict ridden area we can use the term 'refugee' to them. we must understand though all of the coming to Europe are not affected by the war or conflict directly. There are people who are coming to Europe are simply smuggled to here, some people may have fear of not having standard of living after the conflict. These are fear that is not explained in any of the definition. People who move borders for economic reasons are termed migrants. There the economic issues that are raised by the conflict, war and man made crisis, we are not sure what category we should put those into. in some cases economic reasons and safety are inter-related. Some researchers have termed this scenario as 'mixed migration'. It is quite sure that we need to redefine the terms.
