Climate Change and Health

The climate change has hit many aspects of our day today life.The worst hit is what we the people of world are putting in our mouth.
The uneven precipitation on time scale and regional scale along with industrialization with urbanization has primarily reduced fresh and clean water availability.As is accepted norm the worst scene is in third world countries.
Needless to say the effects of the problem are wide in range.
From increase in water borne diseases to mass migration of communities to reduction in productive labor hours to women folks getting into health hazards like spodylosis.
Clean and ample fresh water availability to all should therefore be foremost on the agenda of UN.
When I write this I am aware that it is a Herculean task.It will demand lot of financial support and will have to include not only protecting water resourses but an attitude shift in human behaviour.
