Stonehenge

Stonehenge has pervaded much of British culture over the centuries from art and architecture to poetry, music and pop culture. Really, how could it not? In a country rich with history, I think perhaps Stonehenge really ties Brits to the more ancient and earthy/grounding history of their land before there was even the influence of the Romans. Its very mystery lends itself to the epic and romantic.
