Digital Arts

I had almost forgotten that I had signed up for this course until I received the emails from the instructors a few days ago.

So many things have been going on in my mind.
So many battles I'm fighting...

But I look forward to channeling all that stress and negative energy into some positive and creative output.

I'm especially looking forward to the challenge of creating work that authentically reflects my experiences as a young West African woman. Then I can look into it, like a mirror, and finally understand wholly and truly who I am.

I don't have any experience with digital arts and so I'm definitely a novice. However, I've always felt a strong connection to it and an instinct that it's something I would excel at. I hope I'm right :)
