European's experience on economic cost of hosting refugees

Change is inevitable but progress is not, said one writer. Change doe snot come easy and adapting to certain changes brings unease difficulties and at times conflict. I t is true indeed there has been a great influx on the immigrants, refugees and illegal immigrants moving to Europe. immigrants require jobs to sustain their families, wages for the menial jobs and manual labour, they also require access to education for their kids and also feel like they belong to their new community. Refugees need to have access to medical care, income, education and sometimes jobs for their families as there is a new trend of younger generations being exiled and running away to seek asylum in these European countries. refugees require much more benefits and assistance from the new government unlike immigrants which surely does redistributes the income from rich to poor. it should however not stop the EU and other countries and illegal immigrants fleeing their countries from war, for freedom or terror. it is expensive to host refugees but if the process of asylum application is quick and they are absorbed early enough, it might be a positive effect on the countries they have sought asylum from. it will be positive in that they can work, earn a living on their own , sustain themselves as well as contribute to the GDP of the country. we have seen the trend of a younger age group because most of the younger generations are the ones going to seek asylum unlike the ageing who are remaining in their former countries.
