First solidarity, but then indipendecy right away

Even though specific evidences may differ sometime, I think that immigration do not lower wages overall. Indeed, the most part of migrants find jobs that complement but not substitute the natives' ones.
Public finances, if anything, can be challenged by important flux of migration. Thus, I believe that the welcome must be organized properly, in such a way to give them the tools to rapidly settle a new life in the host country. Definitely, they deserve our help but this does not means that they have to live on benefits all life long. They rather be guided in finding the way to become self-sufficient.
