Uncertainty
There are newspapers who quote so called experts on what might happen to wages, jobs, etc. but no one really knows. The current migration in new to Europe and I don't think the past is a reliable indicator of what impact will occur. The only item I found hopeful is the fact that current migrants are generally young and if they are employed they have a longer work life and could help with the pensioners drain on GDP. Not mentioned but equally important is the fact that once these young people get settled they may be eligible to relocate their families and this will add an additional burden to their host country's economy.
