Considering the current high number of the global movement of people, the terms refugees and migrants are becoming more complex. Although there are different reasons forcing people's movement from one place to another, some would generalise every person who is on the movement within the country or across border as refugee. In the other hand there are people who would refer these people as migrants. Taking into account the reason behind people’s movement across border we will be able to distinguish the different between refugees and migrants. According the 1951 Refugee Convention, refugees are those who flee their country of origin because of fear of persecution. This persecution is threatening their human rights and lives. Unlike refugees, migrants are leaving their country for economic reasons and therefore residing in another country temporarily or permanently for work legally or illegally. However, these two terms are still uncommon for many people who are not interested in migration and refugees issues. Given, some people who are migrant themselves, they tend to put out of their mind that they are not migrants. For instance, there are people who consider migrants are foreign workers who work in Western countries. Therefore, it is necessary to socialise and promote these different terms through different information media.
