Engaging with art is one possibility to better understand Chinese society. Traveling and talking to people is another one. Artists can be emergents of the development of a society and tell us their inside story about the sentiment and the vital problems of the people. In a time that media produces so many politically motivated articles in a fear of the upcoming new power, it is important to find ways to get our own interpretation.
