Stonehenge
I don't really know what is expected here, so I will just take a while and get my thoughts in to order. It's pretty obvious that Stonehenge only makes sense in conjunction with Its environment, it's really the last phase of a whole succession of features which have been laid out on the landscape. I would love to know how much continuity there was through all this, were consecutive builds a continuous development or were there changes similar to when Christian churches were built in pagan sites to effectively take them over.
