Corporate Digital Learning

I think the unit shows, that there are many types (whatever that means) of digital learning. Personally I totally prefer the video compared to the text to make myself familiar with a certain topic. To dive deeper I rather read a specific text and I haven't been using podcasts a lot, therefore I can't really judge. But overall I think it totally depends on the content, the learning objectives, the learning style and preferences of the learner. I thing a quiz usually engages people, at least I can speak for myself. WBTs are very helpful to mix certain types of materials.
From my perspective collaborative learning is key in the future and I guess the most companies have to develop quite a bit to ensure a collective learning culture, a good feeling for feedback and more openness to technological changes. If this happens, virtual meetings, forums, collective feedback and co-creation can happen. To make this possible I really like the flipped classroom concept so that learners gather basic knowledge individually (theories, approaches) with there preferred media (I like the iversity idea of providing input as a text and audio file, so that everyone can choose) and discuss and practice together, either virtually or on-site. Here I think it's key to combine individual learning goals and shared goals of the learners to get a higher commitment.
