iversity: What’s new and where do we want to go

A lot of you might have been wondering about what we have been up to. In case you didn’t know the scientific publishing company Springer Nature bought over iversity in late 2017. You can read the press release here: https://group.springernature.com/de/group/media/press-releases/springer-nature-acquires-e-learning-provider-iversity/15222536

Springer Nature is a leading research, educational and professional publisher, providing quality content to our communities through a range of innovative platforms, products and services. Every day, around the globe, our imprints, books, journals and resources reach millions of people – helping researchers, students, teachers & professionals to discover, learn and achieve.

So what does this mean?
This means that iversity, now with the backing of a highly successful publishing house will continue to support higher education in the form of free Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) and launching new PRO Courses. We already have an offering of new MOOCs on iversity and PRO courses, and we have many more plans.

So, if you haven’t taken a course yet, we highly recommend you to do so and test the quality of iversity. Our learning platform allows you to learn anywhere and anytime, and our video-based learning concept addresses different learning styles be it visual or auditory. Most of the iversity courses are in English, but we also have courses in French and German, even in Italian, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish.

Who are we for?
iversity offers learning solutions for individuals, but we also support organisations in their learning and development initiatives. With our whitelabel academies companies can offer bespoke content to their employees and we also provide them the option of hosting their own content on these academies. Read here more about it: https://iversity.org/en/professional-development

What’s in store for 2019?
Along with a new course format, iversity plans to set their focus of the following three areas when it comes to course content:
a) Leadership and Soft Skills
b) Digital Transformation
c) Springer Nature Grand Challenges

Finally, if you have a course idea be it a MOOC or a PRO Course please do get in touch with our team on iversity@springernature.com.

We love hearing from you.

Happy learning!
